About me
Hi, I’m Drew, a photographer & retoucher driven by a deep love for the outdoors, exploration, and visual storytelling. Much of my inspiration comes from being outside — whether that’s walking quiet trails, hiking through rugged landscapes, cycling new routes, or spending time rock climbing. Being immersed in nature not only challenges me physically, but also constantly reshapes how I see light, space, texture, and movement.
Travel plays a huge role in both my life and my photography. I’m passionate about discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and capturing the atmosphere of wherever I find myself. From dramatic landscapes to subtle everyday moments, I’m always looking for images that feel honest, immersive, and full of character. For me, photography is about more than just aesthetics — it’s about preserving a feeling, a memory, or a fleeting connection to a place or moment in time.
I enjoy working across all formats, from modern digital systems to virtual environments and traditional film photography. Each medium offers something unique. Digital allows flexibility and precision, virtual opens creative possibilities beyond physical limits, and film brings a slower, more intentional process that I find incredibly rewarding. Moving between these formats helps keep my work fresh and experimental, while grounding it in a strong appreciation for the craft.
My approach is shaped by curiosity, patience, and a genuine enjoyment of the process. Whether I’m planning a shoot or stumbling across an unexpected scene, I aim to create images that feel natural, expressive, and meaningful. Photography has become my way of documenting the world as I experience it — adventurous, ever-changing, and full of detail waiting to be noticed.
